Description:
What are the 3 main conditions of True Bhakti?
Our Scriptures explain that there are many paths of heart and mind purification expressed through many types of physical and mental practices, but there is only one path to God - the path of grace or bhakti. If a path or practice is to have a divine outcome, it must include or culminate in bhakti.
During a 3-day discourse, Swami Nikhilanand ji helps us understand these teachings in greater depth and explain us the main conditions or prerequisites of True path of Bhakti:
Day 1: Bhakti must be done from the mind.
Day 2: Nishkamta - Loving God with no demand.
Day 3: Ananayta - Loving God exclusively.
Swami Nikhilanand left behind his Western beliefs and chose to adopt Hinduism as a young man. He travelled to India and studies in the ashrams of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, learning Hindi, Sanskrit, and the essence of the prime Bhartiya scriptures (Upnishads, Darshan Shashtras, Gita, Bhagwatam). When the time came, his Guruji gave him the order of sanyas. Since then, Swami Nikhilanand has lectured throughout the U.S. , inspiring audiences with his clear and practical representation of our Hindu dharm. These spiritually uplifting programs are further sweetened by his kirtan of Radha Krishn name in the form of soul- enticing chantings and devotional songs revealed by Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj.
